Girl, you are stronger than you believe you are.

Girl, you are stronger than you believe you are.
Women carry a heavy load on their shoulders. Often our work, our efforts, gifts and talents go unrecognized or unnoticed. Most times we are paid a fraction of what our male colleagues receive. Many women who have championed in their field are considered less feminine and even have derogatory cracks made against them in the light of their achievements. If we dress feminine, or celebrate our femininity in the workplace, deviant motives are assumed. So we dress down and mimic the men and are ridiculed in doing so. We birth and care for our children and are slandered for being “less than“ if we stay at home to raise them. Those who are in the workforce either out of flat out financial need or by choice, are ridiculed for not “caring“ for their children properly. We indeed, can carry a very heavy load that often times is only seen by the innocent eyes of our children that we try so desperately to protect.
Life sometimes feels like it’s more than we can handle.
Girl, you are stronger than you believe you are. Not because of you, not because of your own strength, not because of your determination, but rather because of the humble and caring servant within you. Jesus loves you and is with you every single step of the way. Jesus revered women. Many of His strongest supporters and those who ministered to His needs were women.
It was Him, Love Himself, that was the source of their strength.
His mom remained with Him through His crucifixion. That in itself is more strength than I can possibly imagine. I would’ve died trying to prevent it. Mary Magdalene and His aunt Mary, along with a multitude of other women, remained by His side as He was crucified and died and some were the very first to witness and learn learn of His resurrection.
I love how God has taken the time to show us as women how deeply we are valued and loved by Him. In those ancient biblical times, women were openly and broadly considered less than men. Jesus embraced them. Jesus healed them. Jesus affirmed them. Jesus taught them. Jesus sent them. Jesus revealed Himself in His glory to them.
Yes, indeed, my sister, you are stronger than you think you are. Greater is He who is within you than anything that should try to come against you.
